On February 7, 2024, the first online working meeting of the working group WG 1 took place according to the project .

At the meeting representatives of Ukrainian and European universities and associated members of the consortium are present : National Transport University, State University “Zhytomyr Polytechnic”, Odesa State Environmental University, National Forestry University of Ukraine, National University of Shipbuilding named after Adm . Makarov, Pryazovsky State Technical University, Kharkiv National Automobile and Road University, Rzeszow Polytechnic, Ukrainian State University named after Mykhailo Drahomanov, Odesa National Maritime University, State Enterprise “State Road Research Institute named after M.P. Shulgin”

The meeting had an introductory nature. The participants of the meeting had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the project: the goal, the content of the project’s activities, the types of work in the work packages and directly of the working group WG 1, as well as the expected results from it.

Suggestions from participants:

• 1. Present the project at the 4th International Scientific Symposium “Sustainable Development – Status and Prospects”
• 2. Organize and hold two round tables “Strategy of sustainable development of universities: history and challenges” and “Sustainable development of communities”
• 3. Develop a roadmap for the strategy of sustainable development in Ukrainian universities.
• 4. Develop a plan for holding regular thematic meetings to discuss sustainability problems in universities and ways to solve them.
• 5. Development and signing of a memorandum on cooperation between Universities.
