On April 25, a meeting with representatives of the National Transport University (NTU) took place within the walls of Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University as part of the Erasmus+ project “Transformational Learning Network for Resilience” (TransLearnN).

The NTU delegation was headed by the Head of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies, Professor Viktoriia Khrutba.

During the meeting with the management and teachers of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies of Zhytomyr Polytechnic, issues of cooperation within the TransLearnN project were discussed, aimed at developing a network of transformational learning to increase resilience in the face of today’s challenges.

The meeting participants shared their experience in implementing innovative teaching and learning methods and exchanged ideas on the development of international cooperation and academic mobility. Particular attention was paid to the issues of adapting the educational process to the conditions of martial law and the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.

The meeting also included a discussion of plans for joint project activities, organizing scientific conferences and seminars, and developing educational programs and courses focused on forming students’ competencies necessary for sustainable development and increasing resilience in conditions of uncertainty.

As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached on enhancing cooperation within the TransLearnN project and implementing joint initiatives aimed at improving the quality of higher education and its adaptation to the challenges of today.
