On May 2nd – Clean Thursday – students and teachers from the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies of the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding, together with employees of the Svyatoslav Beloberezhye National Nature Park, organized an action to preserve the cleanliness of nature reserves.
During this event, all participants collected garbage on the coast of the mud-salt lake Solonets-Tuzla, located near the village of Rybakivka in the Mykolaiv region, and also conducted research on floristic and faunistic biodiversity.
As part of the Erasmus+ project “Transformational Learning Network for Resilience” (TransLearnN), a Memorandum of Cooperation and Partnership was signed between the Svyatoslav Beloberezhye National Nature Park and the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding, and prospects and directions for further cooperation were discussed.
Together with representatives of the Koblevo United Territorial Community, the community’s problems and possible paths to sustainable development and post-war recovery of the territory were discussed.
