On May 20, 2024, a round table meeting was held at the State University “Zhytomyr Polytechnic” as part of the work of WG3 Working Group for the implementation of Work package n°3 of the Erasmus+ project “Transformational Learning Network for Resilience” (TransLearnN). The event brought together representatives from the National Transport University (NTU) and other project participants to discuss possible directions for cooperation between science, business, and communities in the context of achieving sustainable development goals.
The purpose of the meeting was to identify current problems and possible solutions with the participation of community representatives. Special attention was paid to issues of environmental, social, and economic sustainability. The participants shared their experiences and proposals aimed at achieving sustainability and adapting to contemporary challenges.
During the event, the agenda for the upcoming meeting in Rzeszów and developments regarding the concept of sustainable university management were also discussed. The participants of WG3 Working Group considered innovative approaches to managing higher education institutions that could enhance their sustainability and efficiency.
The meeting at Zhytomyr Polytechnic confirmed the importance of close cooperation between scientific institutions, business, and communities to achieve sustainable development goals. The participants expressed confidence in the necessity of regular meetings and exchanges of experiences to implement best practices and innovative solutions in the field of higher education and sustainable development.
The TransLearnN project continues its work aimed at creating an effective platform for cooperation and the development of resilient educational institutions capable of adequately responding to contemporary challenges.
