From June 24 to June 28, 2024, events were held in Poland as part of the project «Transformational Learning Network for Resilience – Enabling Ukrainian higher education to ensure a sustainable and robust reconstruction of (post-war) Ukraine (TransLearnN)»
The project activities commenced on June 24, 2024, at the Rzeszów University of Technology (Rzeszów, Poland), where project participants met with the Vice-Rector for Innovation Development and Public Relations, Professor Yaroslav Sep. The university administration showcased innovative biochemical and physicochemical laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for environmental research, including soil cover and food product.
On June 25, the «Train the Trainers» program began in Bezmiechowa, Poland, presented by project coordinator Angela Dichter, outlining the planned activities.
Participants from Germany, Lithuania, Poland, and Ukraine presented their implementation results of sustainable development principles at universities. During discussions, participants shared their experiences and proposals for achieving resilience and adaptation to contemporary challenges.
Throughout the week, project participants discussed the outcomes of their work within the project’s working groups (WG), engaged in effective team-building activities, and participated in European workshops.
As part of the project, a tour was organized to the green energy facility at the Solina Hydroelectric Power Station. Elektrownia Solina is located on the San River in the Solina commune (Poland).
The TransLearnN project continues its efforts to create an effective platform for collaboration and development of resilient educational institutions capable of effectively responding to modern challenges.
