A collaborative meeting held on January 16, 2025, brought together representatives from the National Transport University, Chornobyl Radiation and Ecological Biosphere Reserve, and Holosiivskyi National Nature Park within the TransLearnN project framework. The participants discussed an innovative initiative to develop an educational course focusing on Ukraine’s Nature Reserve Fund using Virtual Reality (VR) tour technology.
The proposed course aims to serve a dual purpose: it will enhance the educational outreach of Nature Reserve Fund institutions while also providing valuable supplementary materials for higher education institutions teaching about protected natural areas. This innovative approach to environmental education will allow students and visitors to experience Ukraine’s protected territories through immersive VR technology.
