On February 20, 2025, as part of the work of the Online club “Ecological Meetings”, colleagues from the National Ecological Center of Ukraine (NECU) https://www.facebook.com/NECU.official shared their experience in attracting Horizon Europe program funds to projects implemented in national natural parks. The speaker was Yevgeny Bovsunovsky https://www.facebook.com/evgebov executive director, expert in urban ecology, energy efficiency and environmentally friendly technologies. Yevgeny’s professional interests include monitoring atmospheric air quality, inventorying urban greening, energy-efficient technologies and their implementation in the urban environment.

During the report on the topic “National Ecological Center of Ukraine in Horizon Europe projects”, the following issues were covered: NECU projects in the Horizon program and their characteristics, experience of cooperation with NPF institutions, features of NECU project activities, practical advice on participating in competitions and recommendations for presenting a project idea. Representatives of the nature reserve fund institutions, higher education institutions and research institutions joined the meeting.
